Old theatre on the outskirts of Liverpool centre...
Easy to access by car... off street parking available nearby which I used on my visit
FYI.. there was a car park opposite the theatre and it was £7... for the event and cash payments were required...
Stewards/security outside managing the crowd of people attending did a great job of getting everyone in...
Friendly staff at the entrance and inside the theatre made sure everyone was looked after and enjoyed the show
Inside the theatre it looked like it was in need of a little TLC... and a little tired
But I believe it is very old theatre
The toilets were clean but lacking a hand dryer or paper towels...
Feet stick to the floor as you are walking up to your seat... but the
Seats were more than adequate and the most comfortable I have sat on in any theatre with ample leg room
Bar available and around £5... for a can of beer....
But I have to say...had a great time.. thoroughly enjoyed the show and would return if I had the opportunity to see a show here again..
Excellent venue 👌 great for seeing live music. There are plenty of bars, friendly staff. Easy to get to from the town centre. We had a great time seeing Peter Hook on Friday night. I'm looking forward to seeing more bands at this wonderful venue. …
Watched the Reytons at the venue, parking right outside for £7, beautiful old theatre, plenty of bars £5.50 for a can of Red Stripe. Quite cheap compared to some other venues!! Good sound and good view from anywhere, would defo go again.
Went to watch a boxing fight and the location was out of town so taxis were willing to drop me off there to avoid the weekend Christmas shoppers so that was a plus on the location side. The place is so stunning inside and I never knew this existed! There is private paid parking available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was littered with plastic cups but that just says more about the people who came to see the fight rather than blame the staff because I did see staff cleaning even before the event ended. I wouldn't mind coming here again.
Went to see Peter hook an the light amazing gig venue was easy to get to didn't disappoint when in side clean sufficient all good
Really cool venue! Saw Jake Bugg here, and he was fabulous! The standing area is on slightly different levels, so everyone gets a decent view! Would just say it took ages to get served at the bar, so it could probably do with a few more staff.
excellent venue not far out of the city center , an old theatre . glad to see it in use rather than abandoned. went to see Robert Cray and his blues band. awsome. with superb support from Connor selby. good friendly atmosphere very efficient bar staff and front of house. I d turned up without a ticket and taken the chance and queued. no problem there was a ticket available. great taxi drivers that hot me back to lime street for last train home
thanks Liverpool for a grand night out
Great venue for concerts and seats on the 1st floor balcony we’re really comfort.
Sadly the view from our seats on row F was limited by the over hang from the balcony above (see pic). Thankfully it wasn’t full so we moved to get a better view.
Acoustics were great.
Staff really friendly and bar prices are typical of a music venue.
